I'm stuck in chessboard land and and they are playing monkey in the middle with me and it's getting irritating...i have the gist of what i'm supposed to do with the tile...but i still cant get them to go out of order...

Make sure you take a close look at the tile in your inventory. That may help you figure it out.

Have you ever played checkers? Isn't it interesting in checkers that pieces on red squares can ONLY move to other red squares, and that they never touch the white squares?
