I don't want to seem intrusive/prying or anything; I just thought it would be an interesting idea. Post if you have something cool you'd like to show off.

I don't have a background at the moment (My desktop is messy enough as it is ), but I usually just have a nice, simple background of stars, like this one from the end of QFG2.

That's cool. I sometimes just take a high quality picture whose colors I like and pixelize it so that it consists of 1 inch squares. There's definitely some charm to pixel-y images. For example, I made this one:

The background on my desktop is the same as Doon's, but my laptop has this.



My desktop I keep completely clean of icons (even edited the Recyle bin so it won't show) but my laptop is sadly not kept to the same standard.

Mine is the background Doon made from the background at the PO Studios home page (the trees with the colored lines & lights). At work it's the overview image of the Isle of the Crown.

Right now, I have a simple Harry Potter background I drew when I was experimenting with my tablet.  It matches the rest of the theme I have.

Mine is a picture of Devils tower with the Milky Way arm band stretched over the top of it. My work computer is the boring blue screen.

Yup, it's from the floppy version; I just thought the sunset looked particularly beautiful on it (that, and it gave me enough black space to put icons for all of my adventure games!):

ahh... that's why it looked a little different.  I thought it was just dos vs windows version or something.  I play the windows version.
