Who here has played Riddle of the Sphinx?

It is a brilliant game.

I got it back when it came as a 3 disk set, back in like 2001.  Actually my dad got it for me at some store like CompUSA....

It was amazing.  An interface sort of like myst.  gameplay like myst too.  Very much a puzzle game.   take epic notes, etc.  You are basically exploring the great pyramid.

Making this thread makes me want to play/beat the game again.  it took forever to beat in the first place, it's a huge game.

so yeah.... anyone played it?

it's not a myst clone at all, just sort of that same style of game.

I remember it being my favorite adventure game.  As much as I am into king's quest, I really love these puzzleish exploration first person type games, and this is my favorite in that genre.

Myst is also great, and riven, but this is my favorite.
