[NOT-FIXED]Trouble with installation (Category: Install/Setup)

I am having trouble installing ep2. I think it is due to my gutless computer. I downloaded the file and think I have all of it , 757mb. When I open it and choose the directory to save it to. It then says that it is installing but the status bar never moves along, after a few minutes I get the message that the set up was interrupted. (the same message you get if you choose to cancel while it is setting up).

I am running vista, 1.4ghz and 1 gig.

Episode 1 installed and ran without a hitch. Any ideas?

Try totalling uninstalling Episode 1 from your computer and then running the new installer all by itself.  Also set it to install to a directory other than the default Program Files location, like C:\TSL2 or something like that.  That tends to get the installer moving a little quicker sometimes.  Let me know if that helps.

I tried both of these and no luck. I am reluctunt to re download cos of my data allowance but do you think this is best?

Yeah you have the full download so there's no need to re-download the application itself.  It may be your computer is just struggling to run the installer for some reason.  Try visiting http://update.microsoft.com to see if there are any general updates for your computer, and try running both a disk cleanup and the disk defragmenter (both are available through start menu, under accessories and system tools).
