Fierce Deity

I can only imagine burning to death. If you're freezing, eventually you'll body will become numb.

WIW: A WIW about torture or a WIW about dying? Seriously, why so grim folks?
Freudian Slip - "When you say one thing, but mean your mother."

I'd have to say torture, death is inevitable.

WIW being blind or being deaf?

Rosella

(We just did that question. XD)

It's funny how you find you enjoy your life when you're happy to be alive.

waltzdancing

Oops. Guess I need to pay more attention. Sorry guys.

WIW flat tire or over heated engine?

tessspoon

Over heated engine, at least I've had experience dealing with a flat tire (well, actually it was more like an exploded tire... :P)

WIW: bad movie or bad book?

waltzdancing

Bad Movie.

It's so expensive to go see a movie in theaters these days it is ridicules. 10 bucks! At that price I expect to get my money's worth. I can only go a see a movie once now unlike the Lord of the Ring Days when you could get in for 4.50.

WIW younger brother or younger sister?

kindofdoon

Freezing because your body would stay intact and past a certain point, the numbness would eliminate any pain.

My, we are quite gruesome, aren't we?

WIW: Steve(Jobs or Ballmer)? (think distributive property)

Ummm... you answered the wrong question. :P

I don't know that I could describe either a younger brother or sister as "bad," let alone worse. ::)

Steve Jobs, definitely. He annoys me with how controlling he is of what can be done with Apple hardware. >:(
(By the way, I've always thought you should be able to use parenthesis for grouping in grammar - particularly when it's not clear which noun an adjective applies to.)

WIW: No books or no music?

Steve Abbott | Beta Tester | The Silver Lining

Rosella

No music. I haven't really read much since middle school, and there are so many forms of media that tell a story (like video games :P) that I wouldn't feel like I'm missing anything. No music, on the other hand...I'd die. Singing is my passion; music is my outlet. I'd go insane without that kind of emotional release.

WIW: Writing a 20 page paper or giving a 10 minute presentation?

20 page paper...I did enough presentations in graduate school that they don't bother me anymore XD

WIW: swimming in 20 degree weather or running when it's over 100 degrees?

Swimming in 20 degree weather -- I HATE the cold.
Besides, I can run naked and be cooler, it's harder to swim with layers to stay warm. :P

WIW: The smell of burnt hair or the smell of garbage?

I sort of enjoy the former, actually...

WIW: Venom or Carnage? (Spider-Man villains)

It's not my turn so this isn't an official answer but.....

CARNAGE!!!!

WIW: Venom or Carnage? (Spider-Man villains)
Ummmm...I've never actually seen Spider-Man.  ;]  But I'll say Carnage.  It just sounds more fear-inducing.

WIW: Bad weather or boredom?

Haids -- you made the right choice but just to educate you.... this is Venom:

He's a disgruntled former newspaper employee who came in contact with Spider-Man's evil alien costume, and decided to use it to try to kill Spider-Man.

This is Carnage:

He's a disgruntled serial killer who came in contact with a piece of Spider-Man's evil alien costume and decided to use it to try to kill everyone.

So, yes, I think you made the right choice. :P

I feel much smarter now.  :scholar:  Thanks, Cray!

I remember both of those guys from the SNES Spiderman video game.  Venom actually used to give me nightmares when I was little! :(

Bending back a fingernail...unless of course you end up breaking your toe :P

computer crashing... that's just awful.

I can't see how a drink could even compare.

Maybe it's because I'm not a starbucks addict.

WIW: Sierra On-line's Chainsaw Monday or the decline of newspapers.
"... blah, blah, blah, blah, blah ..." - Ken, The Land of the Lounge Lizards.

kindofdoon

Chainsaw Monday. Newspapers are unnecessary paper waste, and I have no nostalgia for them. Plus, they're so large and awkward to hold that I find them difficult to read.

WIW: Boggle or Scrabble?
