Behind the time... but yeah, I'll add a small touch of clarification.

The Move controller charges via USB but is a bluetooth device, just like the PS3 SixAxis/DualShock 3 controllers and as such is untethered during gameplay.  No dongle/etc. required as it pairs directly with the PS3's internal bluetooth controller.  You -are- required to plug the controller into the PS3 via the usb connection for the initial pairing to take place... or it makes it MUCH easier as it's just a matter of plugging it in and pressing the PS button.

It most definitely works with the older, larger model... I've got a 60gb model that runs like a champ with it.
