That is incredibly lame. I also think it's silly to go out any buy a costume when making one yourself requires far more skill and is more enjoyable.

yeah m trying to decide king graham or MJ?

kindofdoon

Graham would be more esoteric and therefore cooler for a Halloween costume.

That's why I usually end up buying one or just putting my jacket on backwards.

And if you do Graham, you could submit a picture of it to the Halloween Costume Contest :)

From personal experience, I can tell you that making costumes are going to cost more. When I made Erik's and my Renn Fest costumes, we probably spent between $100 and $150 each on the material and notions. Granted, we were buying better quality material than most of those costumes are made from!

I don't know that I'd call it a rip-off, but it was pretty eye-rolling.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

TV.com's lame list of "The scariest TV shows" to watch around Halloween. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"... REALLY?
