EDIT: Enchantermon was in. I set him up with some items and stuff. We were burning things. 

LOL and when I came back half the island was on fire.  Made it a lot easier for me to collect the wood though, and it got me motivated to actually finish the island so we now have Beauty's mansion, the docks, and a rather cool lighthouse built out of netherstone and lightstone - looks incredible at night.  The rest of the island will just be open space for houses or whatever people want.

Minecraft looks pretty unique. Interesting indeed, had me going to UTube looking at all sorta of videos on it lol.
Another game that seems like that but more up to date ( per - say ) would be Second life, Its a virtual world where you can build just about anything on an sim ( a space aka world ) thats where my profile picture comes from

Once I make some respectable progress on some non-Minecraft stuff I need to take care of, I'm actually thinking of doing something really complex with using some minecart tracks and a variety of rooms to put together a fun little ride.

I think Ops can do it. Check out "Das Obsidian Kanone" on the roof of the castle. I'll leave instructions on use and a chest full of TNT. Take he ladder Valanice's room or in the room next to Valanice's to reach it.

My current project is creating a half-sphere (that I may convert into an observatory) by using level curves of circles with progressively smaller radii.

I'll see about making one of those later, I wish I had a block that looked a little better for the glowing effect as the lightstone looks a bit crappy but for now it works.

Here is my completed cobblestone half-sphere. It measures 40 blocks in diameter, and contains over a thousand blocks total.

Nope, it's in my single-player map.

Oh, and btw, no cheats were used in the making of my half-sphere. I mined and placed everything manually.

Weldon I'd like to check out this minecraft server you got sometime when it's up.

I was fiddling around on another friend's server and then they removed the mobs, kind of ticked me off.

I feel like mobs are half the game, without them MC is well...boring to me.

I usually play without them, because I often build large structures continuously, until their completion, and fighting off mobs for half the time is quite a nuisance.
