So I've heard. One of my friends from high school is OBSESSED with that show. For more reasons than one.

OOooh I LOVE Supernatural. And Jensen Ackles is SO HOT!

And also it's a really good show.

But really...

...it's SUCH a great show. Very dark, but very awesome. And very creative with their villains -- like, mostly based off of actual myths and things, but they always twist them. Very awesome.

Much like twilight's "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob"? (for the record, I'm "Team Shut the $%^# up about twilight". It's from a t-shirt i bought at Anime Boston last year. In fact, I wore that shirt while seeing Vampires Suck. I don't care what reviews say; I love that movie!)

Ehh...not really. There are very few female characters who stick around on the show, so it's not a debate of who wants which guy to win the girl--it's really more of 'which brother do you like more/think is more hot'.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the main conflict there is who gets to romance the female lead too, so...not exactly. (I've only seen the show--surprisingly good, actually!--but let's face it, if there's a female lead, then a main point of contention will always be who wins her affections in the end.)

Oh, there is. In the books, they pretty much catfight over Elena Gilbert until the bitter end.

Yeah, the thing with Supernatural is if you see a female character, and she gets a name and appears in more than one episode, you know she's somehow doomed. At the very least, something's going to happen where she swears off seeing the Winchesters ever again.

[spoiler]The exception being what's-her-name (can't recall) with the son, who Dean is playing family with in his "off time" currently. And I still think that's going to end badly -- but probably not until her son is a bit older, so he can carry on the family tradition and viola, they set up the show for a sequel movie! [/spoiler]

I also used to watch the show (but i stopped since I got distracted with anime xD) and quite liked it. If I had to choose between Sam and Dean I'd pick Sam... mainly because of his hair
Now, interessting news for likers of the show and anime; they actually made an anime with the real voice actors! I think they made up a new story though. Episode 1 is online, if someone is interessted. I'm not sure how many are on yet.

I have heard and seen trailers for the anime. I don't know that it's on a different continuity--I think they were making it a mix of re-doing episodes from the first (and second?) season(s) as well as some original stories from when the boys were younger. So not so much contradicting existing stuff, just adding new stories we haven't seen before.

Where can Episode 1 be seen? I am curious. I'm not huge on anime, but I do love Supernatural.
