Umm.. No. There are people who've actually lost limbs to infections from dog licking or biting. So a kiss, why not. But licking open wounds, no.

I'm not saying getting bitten by a dog is a GOOD thing. Obviously not!

But, I should have been more specific, and even snopes confirms this much in that article--a human bite is more likely to lead to infection because more of the bacteria in a human's mouth will be more likely to affect humans. As opposed to the bacteria in a dog's mouth, which is less likely to affect a human.

So the latter part of my statement isn't accurate, but the former is if you're talking about possibility of infection. So in that sense, a human bite is worse for you than a dog bite.

But seriously, people, try not to get bitten. Or to bite others.
