Quote from: LadyTerra on December 29, 2010, 09:30:10 PMI just couldn't get into it when I saw it.  The whole joke about the ladybug being a man was funny, but that was the only thing redeemable about that movie (though I will admit my biggest problem was how annoying Dot was).
But.....but everyone loves Heimlich! :D
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

yeah, back to the future NES makes for a pretty solid candidate. Gaah, I hated that game.

What about worse Adventure Game?

Lure of the Temptress or what was that game... Godess of Sex whatever or something.

Worse Sierra Adventure game?

hmmm.... tough choice. I would say somewhere between SQ6, Shivers 2 and Phantasmagoria 2.

Worse Sierra game for me gotta be Silpheed, but it's really a Game Arts' game. For a real scrappy Sierra game, then it will be Goldl Rush! for me. Far too much trial and errors for my taste.

That one is a doozy, just WAY too many potential dead ends, even for a game back then.  It could be reasonably fun if you knew exactly what to do but there were just too many ways to screw yourself over.

...ah Gold Rush! that's one of my favorite games of all time. Three different paths to complete. You just need to get the required supplies for the journey. Alot of the real life solutions were actually in that history book that came with the game.
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

Ah..ET...brings back memories. Nope, didn't like that one either, I could figure out what to do either. Worst computer game? just got on for christmas..Hidden Mysteries-Salem witch, that came with a bonus game Carribean Explorer. Man, those were terrible!

I can't remember any games I thought were the worst ever. I never liked TimeShift. What a disappointing game. It wasn't awful, though, just mediocre. Maybe because I don't play any bad games.

Just thinking about this now, having bad games is almost necessary. You've got to have something to balance out all the good. If all you play are good games you're going to call the least of the best the worst and that's not really fair. We should be playing some really bad games every now and then to remind us that decent games are decent!

The gameplay was legendary, but the ending of Zelda: Ocarina of Time made me really, really mad.  I was like, "Are you kidding me?!  I just went through a year of working through this game just so
Link would think it was all a dream?"
TOTALLY left me unsatisfied.  I was so angry at the writers!

Do you mean Link's Awakening?  I think he's pretty clear on the events from Ocarina of Time, the beginning of Majora's Mask actually specifically refers to them as real.

I remember Gold Rush! I liked it, but I would always get a message about having forgotten something important when I left town and I still don't know what that was. I'd always die as soon as I got to the desert if I went overland, and if I went via the sea, I'd die when ants ate me in the jungle.

I also got annoyed that I bought all that stuff at the supply shop and it all got tossed somewhere along the line inevitably.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what Link's Awakening is.  :-\ I'm referring to the ending of Ocarina, where
Zelda thanks him for all he did for Hyrule, but tells him he will wake up as a child and think it was all a dream.
Ya, she wiped his memory. But the events really happened. There several games that are branch off from that timeline.

Well, I didn't know that at the time I beat it. :)  This was 1999, amigos. :partyhat: In any case, the ending of that game pissed me off royally.  I actually yelled at the TV when I finished.

Hmm, well I understood it back in 1999... But I'm digressing... Many people don't understand the ending of Lost either... It has a similar situation.

It wasn't a dream and she didn't wipe his memory. He remembered everything in Majora's Mask. She merely sent him back in time. It all seemed pretty straight-forward to me. Just because a screen fades to white doesn't automatically mean "it was all a dream." In either event, Zelda telling him he'll think everything was all a dream doesn't mean it actually WAS a dream. I don't really see what's so displeasing about that.

Sheesh.  If I knew how personally everyone would take it, I wouldn't have said anything!  ::)

Like I said, I didn't like it.  Personal taste, I guess.  I don't like stories that end as someone's dream.  Even The Nutcracker kinda makes me mad! ;D

Ya Haids what were you thinking taking a shot at what many worship as the holy superstar of Zelda games?  But (in my opinion) your perspective is perfectly reasonable.  There's been more confusion and debate about the Zelda timeline and game connectivity based on the ending of that game than any other game I can think of.  Personally I actually like Majora's Mask better than Ocarina of Time because I just love the whole repeating timeline thing and all the puzzling aspects that are thrown in.

Thank you! Even moreso than the King's Quest timeline? ;)

I've never really cared about hte stories in the Zelda games, for me its been about hte puzzle solving, and exploration... The stories have never hurt hte game sfor me, since I had so much fun playing them.
