Yay! ^_^ Welcome!

Well my favorite Kings Quest game is the one where there are like these turtles and they're all dumb and boring and slow until this one day like they fall into this pool of radioactive goo and then BAM-- they turn into these sweet bi-ped teenagers....with muscles and like there is this rat who knows karate cuz like yeah his owner is japanese or russiany or something and does karate and the rat is well read...cuz hes a rat and thats what rats like to do, read stuff and the rat names the turtles after famous Italian artist...cuz yeah .....but the turtles aren't artist, their fighters and they're awesome. And like the rat is all old and scared up cuz he got beaten up alot or no, he got stabbed trying to save his master who is dead! And like the rat is all old now but he trains the turtles how to fight bad guys like the one who killed his owner and like they're teenagers so they speak really cool and kids like slang stuff like.

Seriously, I would love to be in that studio when that guy pitched the idea behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...I mean really!?!?!?!?! Sorry....total tangent....

heh, on a more serious note,

I actually think KQIII is my favorite. I used to go around and "collect" ingredients from the game so I could make my own versions of the spell. Good times. KQV was the hardest one for me, I was stuck in that game for like 10 years....

Haha, cheating is lame :/

I can relate. :-\ It's so annoying having to be a responsible adult. :P

Ha!

Well with the wonders of VPN I could actually be in bed all day and work from there. But someone's gotta take control of stuff :)

And yeah, for me KQ3 was the hardert, but I would say 6 is my favorite....

3 months ago I actually bought all of em again through gog.com, gotta be careful with that site, it'll bankrupt me someday I swear....

I LIKE King's Quest III, but it's my least favorite. It's not one of those fun, challenging games, it's just a pain. I've beaten it twice, and that has been it. It's not one that I'm like, "I'm in a Questing mood. How 'bout III?"

Mine too. :) My childhood is in that game!

Glad you're here, Yaas. Hopefully we don't frighten you off. :P

Welcome Yaas! We're a friendly bunch I promise :) I concur with KQ 6 being my favorite. I could write a novel on how awesome that game is.

Really? XD I played it obsessively trying to beat it in less and less time. :P I usually managed it in under two hours, which is something I couldn't really say of any of the ones that came after III. :P

Frighten me? I've been around on the net for 15+ years, you'll be just fine :)

Just finished first episode of TSL, awesome scripting, hope the game gets more polished throughout the rest :) so far so good!

Why TGE though? awkward choice of engine nowadays :)

KatieHal

Nowadays, yes. When we stared on it years and years ago, it made *slightly* more sense.

We are changing engines, though--Episode 5 will be done in Unity.
