Thanks!

My friend did all the art (I'm mostly the writing): his deviant art--

)
Well, I did out the broad strokes of the idea for the story: in the first book or so, they have to go through the usual steps of discovering and learning about these powers they've just randomly received because they happened to be in the area while dealing with a detachment of agents from the alien race whose ship crashed who want the powers back and are working with an MIB-like organization to get them... and simultaneously both sides (the kids and the MIB/alien agents) are dealing with the alien threat that the aliens who crashed were pursuing on earth in the first place. ((Oh, and the important thing to remember here--they were all in middle school when these superpowers and all of the attendant issues got dropped on them.))
Plus, there is the over-arching backdrop of three kids growing up.
Writing the individual chapters was always fairly collaborative and a matter of working with The Art Department... err... my friend Vu.
