After 8 years the secret is out. Play it this February! I've put a huge percentage of the last decade of my life into this game's soundtrack and I hope you'll all enjoy it when it's ready!

I had no idea ya'll were doing KQ3. so this means there will be two KQ3 remakes out now?

wait a sec..... this is like kq3+? or just better graphics than the IA one?

I love the IA one, and I will play this for sure... but if it's a plus remake like KQ2, I am really stoked.

So what is it? And why call it Redux? We figured calling it KQ3VGA (after KQ1VGA) or KQ3+ (after KQ2+) wouldn't describe the game well, because the game lies somewhere in between both extremes. It's not a 1:1 remake like KQ1VGA is, nor is it a major reworking like KQ2+ where many characters' roles were spun around. The underlying plot remains the same, but many existing elements have been given more personality and polish. A few new elements were added, but not on KQ2's scale. So we gave the game its own unique moniker.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I enjoyed KQ2+, so this KQ3 Redux will have to be good!

This looks awesome, however, being another KQ3 remake out there I would have prefered them to remake another Sierra game. But hey, I'm not going to complain

Heh, problem was...when IA's KQ3 was announced, we already had a project that had 2 years of work put into it, that we didn't want to throw away. (IA was like the 3rd or 4th KQ3 remake project that was announced since we started, but it was the only one that finished)

Yah, there are no other hidden projects in the wings at AGDI, so KQ3Redux is pretty much a parting gift. But there's another project in the works under the Himalaya banner that's also kinda aimed at the people who enjoy KQ and QFG-type games.

There's a reason I love AGDI. THIS IS IT! OMG HOLY CRAPOLA! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME AND AMAZING! I mean, the whole thing looks simply beautiful! Oh man, I can't wait for this. So we've got two KQ3 remakes now. I think this will be pretty darn exciting! I also can't wait to see the next Himalaya game! I haven't played Al Emmo, but if your next game is aimed at KQ fans, count me in!

Glad to hear you guys and girls are looking forward to the release. What, with TSL, KOS, and Redux, now is indeed a very good time to be a King's Quest fan!

Arkillian: I don't think you'll be disappointed.

dark-daventry: Cheers! The next Himalaya game will be a hybrid RPG adventure in the same spirit as KQ and QFG. I'd say it's more like KQ in regards to it's storytelling elements, but closer to QFG in it's gameplay style. The best of both worlds.
