Did she find the allusions to GK in TSL? ("What can you tell me about Voodoo?", etc.)

Yes, and she had a huge laugh about it.
That's a compliment! :D

That is really cool that you got to meet her. It is especially cool when you get to meet your idol and they turn out to be an amazing person!  8)

I know, right? sometimes idols don't always turn out to be as great as you imagined them to be. But it seems as if Jane Jensen is as amazing an individual as she is a game designer.

I've been very fortunate to meet my idols in my life. When I was 17 y/o, I was paid a trip by both the fans and members of my fav band to come to the states. I had a chance to stay with the band, ride their bus, talk to them for hours, go backstage all the time, etc.

It was the best thing that could have ever happened to me then.

Now, I got the chance to meet Jane Jensen, stay at her place, and talk with her for hours as well.

I think that I'm either very lucky and have a big star shining on me, or it's just the result of working so hard on the dreams I've had, AND pursuing those encounters. They certainly didn't just come down to me on a silver platter, I've pretty much always screamed to the universe how much I wanted to see a show and meet my fav band (Marillion), and how I'd love to meet Jane Jensen and talk to her.

Fortunately for me, I don't dream of meeting people like Steven Spielberg or Bono. I've always had a *different* taste, a bit less commercial, that has allowed me to reach my dreams. However, I'm sure that if I wanted to meet Steven Spielberg (or if anyone wanted to do for that matter), enough work put on it would yield those results, and I'm a firm believer of that after having met two of my idols in my lifetime.

My next target: Ken and Roberta :) I've gone as far as chatting with Ken on MSN, and I would really love to meet them next.

Cez, if you get the chance to meet with Ken and Roberta, I absolutely INSIST that I get to come along too. I've wanted to meet them for like, so long. Just the same as you love Jane Jensen, I love Ken and Roberta. Besides, it's about time at least *one* of my dreams comes true lol. Seriously though, you're extremely lucky to have met all these people! You have mad connections, my friend.

Details?

Not much, really. At one point it was conversations about TSL. At another point, I was involved with some project he was experimenting with, but that really went nowhere.

I remember that! I was kinda involved in that thing. Precursor of C9's story, really.

yeah, he wanted to see if a volunteer group could make a game on the internet. :)

But yes, like Katie said, that's when C9 was born. It was the first idea I had for that game. It used to be called Corridor 7 back then (Until I figured there was a game called that, too!)

Would Ken be interested in working on C9 if it ever goes into production?

I'd assume probably not - he's not even interested in actively working on his own son's game so he probably wouldn't come out of retirement to work on one of ours.

Wait, Ken and Roberta's son is developing a game? When did this happen? And why did I not know about it? And when did they even have a kid? (Yes, I am VASTLY out of the loop. DON'T JUDGE ME! XD)

Well, one night Ken looked at Roberta and said...
Oh, wait, you mean a specific date? Oh. Can't help you there, sorry. ;)
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

He he. I'm in a playful mood tonight. :)

As am I. This is what happens when Caffiene and ADHD mix. The results are most unpleasant. XD I don't think I'll be going to sleep tonight. I'll be up until at least 3 AM. Watching TV or some such.

Seriously though, meeting the Williams would probably make me pee my pants in excitement alone. Meeting Roberta and Ken has been a dream of mine since like, ever. The chances of me actually getting to meet them? Slim to none.
