Players can expect the humor to range from witty and subtle to crude slapstick with the Purple Patriot being the most common target. Each character brings a specific type of humor with them. The Purple Patriot engages in physical comedy and creates the setup through his inane and often hypocritical ramblings, which is then promptly shutdown by everyone else. Mel is the Patriot’s most common foil, often calling out on Kyle’s hypocritical world views and ensuring he doesn’t get his way.Kyle isn’t the only aspiring superhero, throughout the game we meet someone simply known as the Flamboyant Superhero. He became too bored with Russia’s “peaceful regime” and decided to try his luck as an American Citizen. Originally, this supervillain hoped to use his ice-based powers to wreak havoc, but he found work a city hall clerk instead. That may not sound too bad, that is, until the Patriot needs to renew his driver’s license in episode 2.Finally we have Stan, a retired superhero who now runs a superhero themed bar. Originally a superhero himself, this walking Stan Lee reference retired when he got a batarang to the knee. Now, his bar “True Believers” provides support for any heroes or villains that need it.
