Last year we celebrated Sierra\u2019s Gabriel Knight series with the launch of the 20th Anniversary Edition of Gabriel Knight – Sins of the Fathers<\/em>.<\/a> Readers may also recall our Gabriel Knight countdown<\/a>for the 20th Anniversary Edition launch which saw the release of a new short story \u2018The Temptation\u2019, written by Jane Jensen herself. \u2018The Temptation\u2019 is the first addition to the Gabriel Knight lore since Sierra On-Line\u2019s final adventure game, Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.<\/p>\n

The first part of ‘The Temptation’ short story was recreated in a comic book format<\/a> and is free to download. Today, we reveal the continuation in our three-part comic book series<\/a> with the final chapter becoming available on a later date.<\/p>\n

Taking place six months after his last quest, \u2018The Temptation\u2019 begins with Gabriel back in Germany and working on another case, wondering where does one go after fulfilling their destiny. Uncovering his family\u2019s line true history and how it ties to his Schattenj\u00e4ger roots will certainly go down as one of the most important findings in the Shadow Hunters\u2019 records. Perhaps just as important, we also learn what happened to Gabriel after reading Grace\u2019s letter at the end of Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.
