Why is the forum and site crashing?

It was due to the trailer, but more specifically "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded". XD

We are allowed 65 GB/month and we ended up using about 102 GB! !!!

No doubt about it. Everyone downloaded the big trailer the moment they found out it was available, until the limit was reached. 8)

That's the thing, the server stats weren't updating.  We e-mailed them to ask what's up and to update them and pow, we jumped to around 98 GB.  It actually shouldn't have even been possible, because they shut you down when you go over the limit by 1 byte, let alone 37 GB. XD

i haven't been able to get on this site for about a week because of the stupid "Bandwith Exceeded" thing.  :jealous:
I think that the asulum people let the lab mice out. I mean, they are being tested together.  ::)

Bandwidth is reset every month.  So the site went back up on Oct 1, but I have no idea what time.  It wasn't at midnight EST... :-\

The day after the forum went down, I ripped up a math paper in math class. My friend said it was bad karma and I said it had to be retro-active karma because nothing can happen that is worse than the forums going down. ;P

Servers don't reset. Particularly not if their OS is Linux/Unix. ;) Server stats reset. :scholar:
