The pouch of coins in the bandits' hideout? ???

It wasn't what I was thinking of, but that's a very good guess. And you're getting very warm.  :)

Nope.

Here's another hint: it isn't anywhere in KQV to MoE. Look in the first half of the series.  ;)
There's the hint I was after! :P

Manannan's wand?
When I read that, the first thing I thought was "Manannan's wand BATMAN!"

My guess is... your inventory in KQ3 on the pirate ship...
Noli me tangere! Nescio ubi fuisti!
Don't touch me! I don't know where you've been!

Marquess of Pembroke
Duke of Saxony in Her Majesty's Court
Knight of the Swan for Her Imperial Highness

...resistance was obviously useless against a family that could invent italics.

"Let the locative live."

Or if not that, your inventory in the bandits hideout?

hercrabbiness

Nope.

Egads, next time I won't make my riddles so vagues...  :-\

Another hint would be great :) Once we know the answer, we'll all be like "why didn't I think of that?? It's SO obvious!" :)

Mkay, here's another hint: it isn't something you can pick up with your hands.  ;)

tessspoon

Okay, the dew in the garden?

hercrabbiness

tessspoon

Wheeee! ;D
It only took me *counts* four guesses and three hints! :P

Ok, here's mine (I wrote it two months ago in case I ever got one of these):

Shining brightly on the ground
Waiting to be found
Left be he who worked his wheel
For buying, it fits the bill.

The silver coin in KQ5?
Noli me tangere! Nescio ubi fuisti!
Don't touch me! I don't know where you've been!

Yep! :D

Ahh, that one was way too easy. I'll have to make a harder one next time.

that reminds me... I wrote down like 5 KQ riddles some time back... and of course can't find them now...

ON WITH THE RIDDLE:

From love or beauty come I.
With me you may fly
But not from the ground
But from where flights abound.

*hopes it isn't too easy*
Noli me tangere! Nescio ubi fuisti!
Don't touch me! I don't know where you've been!

hercrabbiness

Is it the hair of a maiden from KQVI?

You can get it from Cassima (the one you love) or Beauty. With it, you can make the spell that will call Nightmare and let you fly... but you don't necessarily fly from the ground; you find Nightmare at the top of the cliffs where the Winged Ones live.

awesomeasapossum

That sounds right hercrabbiness. It definitely makes more sense than my answer.

hercrabbiness

Woohoo!

Though I'll never admit this, it's sad but true:
I desperately need something better to do
Give me an item; I'll give you one of
My treasures you won't need, that another will love

tessspoon

The blue bead in KQ7?

Delling

either that or the statue at the bottom of the well
