Yes he is a poo head, and now I have to wait about 2 more hours for it to download. >:(

oh, that sucks. Do you have a download manager? Sometimes those can help speed up downloading. At least for me.

No, I am at my moms house and the connection here is just terrible. If I was at home it would have been downloaded in about 30min.

What browser are you using?

IE? Oh lord no. That's the problem right there. Get off IE. Switch to anything other than IE. My choices would be Firefox, Chrome or Opera. All are super fast, super customizable (firefox especially) and all come with download managers. So if you have a chance, use any one of those web browsers. IE is the bane of a web designer's existence (I know, because I'm majoring in web design for the time being... Key word being time being). By switching, you can improve your internet experience tremendously.

IE is horrible, but its download speed should not differ significantly from any other browser because download time is a function of the connection speed, not the browser.

As long as it's not IE6 you're ok. The web doesn't cater for IE6 anymore. It's such a redundant browser. I prefer Chrome, but I'm trialing out Firefox again. It became bloat ware and slowed my computer down a tone. I'm hoping they fixed that by now :/

I'm using the beta of Firefox 4. It's pure sexiness. It may only be Beta 9, but it may just be the best version of Firefox yet. It introduces App Tabs, speed increases, a completely overhauled UI (for the better) and a lot more. If you don't mind bug-ridden beta software that could crash at any minute, try Firefox 4 out for yourself.

I'm on Firefox 3.6 and it seems ok. I just had my whole computer reinstalled though so that may be why. I hope it's faster. I don't do weird things with my browsers- I just want them to work.

An "expected to be done" date would be nice.

Unfortunately, all we can say right now is sometime in February. We are working as diligently as we can to get the game fully tested and bug free to be ready for the masses. When we have any updates, the community on this website will be the first to know. Believe me, the team is working like wildfire to get Episode 3 done.

I stopped upgrading Firefox when they made that annoying built-in media play applet that you can't deactivate. I want to DOWNLOAD my OGG files not stream them in my browser!

IE is total suck. It disobeys ALL the rules of web design and creates its own. It was a NIGHTMARE coding my websites to work with IE properly. Eventually I stopped caring. I don't want to support Internet Explorer's way of webbing. And it'll never change until more webmasters stop supporting it, forcing Microsoft to comply to proper web design standards.

So excited!!  ;D
I don't know if I'm one of the last to notice this but on the TSL calender,
it said that the frozen landscape Rosella is trapped in, is actually "Frozen Ooga Booga".
Does that mean we'll be exploring that land again soon? :D
Anyway, take as much time as you need so the finished product is as good
as can be... we'll wait! :)

Hmm, there's that suffer emoticon again  :-\
Oh well, I'm actually already happy that you guys try to make as much references
to the previous games as you can, you really feel nostalgic while playing :)
The next episode will be all about trying to rescue Valanice, right? And we've seen
pictures of the tower already... so maybe in a later episode he'll go after rosella
and alexander :D Would be awesome, but I'll just wait and see. I'm happy with every little
thing I get.

Yeah, we've put in a lot of references to past KQ games, and even some of Sierra's other quest games as well...

The thing is, I'm probably one of the younger people on here. I only knew the series because of my parents who played it years ago. Actually, I only played through VI, VII and VIII, so I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do! Reading all those references... it makes me wanna play all of them sometime. and when I have time enough I will... :)

Haids1987

We have a pretty nice diversity here, age-wise.  We have a couple 18 and 19 year-olds, a 14 year-old, and a lot of us are in our early 20's.  I love how King's Quest transcends the ages and even people who were born in the 90's (:o) still love it. <3

To have had played the games growing up you'd at least be more or less on average 30 years old. I'm 29 and was a big adventurer in the days of Sierra and Lucas Arts. I'm curious as to how the younger guys and girls heard of King's Quest and how they became interested in adventures in general especially when probably growing up during the adventure decline/drought.
