Lots of very clever people who wrote lots of very clever things were usually on the sides of empires.

No one. Not that you aren't necessarily. Just, you know... there were people, very clever ones, who did write such things and were on the side of empires (not The Empire, per se, after all, they likely would have considered The Empire to be their own, i.e.-the one whose side they were on).

I haven't completely played through Knights of the Old Republic, so I can't comment.

An "expected to be done" date would be nice.

Unfortunately, all we can say right now is sometime in February. We are working as diligently as we can to get the game fully tested and bug free to be ready for the masses. When we have any updates, the community on this website will be the first to know. Believe me, the team is working like wildfire to get Episode 3 done.

I'm actually a much bigger Trekkie than I am a Star Wars fan. Don't get me wrong; I love me my Star Wars. But Captain Benjamin Sisko will forever reign supreme as perhaps the single best science-fiction character EVER. Ok, well, maybe not, but he's certainly way cooler than Darth Vader. Or at least I think so...

LOL!  Reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons when they're telling the story of when Marge got pregnant with Maggie.  Homer starts a new job at the bowling alley, and everyone knows Marge is pregnant except him.  All day people keep telling him congrats on the new bundle of joy, so glad to hear that the stork will be stopping by, etc, and he keeps interpreting it as "Congrats on your new job."  It isn't until he hears someone say, "Oh yeah, Homer, congratulations on your new job!" that it clicks and he starts freaking out: "Congratulations on your new job...?  MARGE IS PREGNANT?!" and runs up the stairs screaming.

Indeed it was. Best of Star Trek in my opinion.
