It's been awhile for you, welcome back!   And it's been a good posting session the past 15 or 20 minutes, hasn't it?

-Drinking water
-Having some much-needed "me time" after a crazy month
-Also foruming and having fun chatting with some of my favorite posters
-Suddenly realizing that said water has caught up with my bladder. 'Scuse me for a moment...

Yeah, usually I only spend 15 minutes per day here, but there are some quality threads/posters going on right now.

-having MPICH2 working on my home Linux box
-going to reboot into Windows, play a celebratory game of LoL, then get MOLLIE working, then convert C-output command structures into cfitsio-output command structures, install cfitsio on my home desktop, watch said code crash and burn, and finally be able to present SOMETHING to the other postgrad who actually works with cfitsio ("here, I made this. It fails hardcore, but maybe it's salvageable? HALPZ, plz?"), at which point having done all of that, if I do all of that, I will take the rest of the weekend off and take an immediate nap

-being stoked that my friend Vu is going to come visit in May
-wondering if TKD will still be running so that I can drag him to it (I think it will be b/c we're having a grading in June or May, je pense)
-wondering if Deloria is still planning to visit in April... b/c I can definitely drag her to TKD then: we'll hold our entire conversation in Latin (upon reconsideration whilst rereading my post before posting: we probably won't stick to just Latin... probably Latin, French, and Greek); everyone else will be confused. To affect some Irish vocab: "it'll be class, like"

-needing to get Chinese fonts set up on my desktop... I miss my Google Pinyin IME

-Wanting to go to the store and stock up on Sprite, Pepto, Saltines, and plain vanilla yogurt, but afraid I'll see my boss there. (Curse you, Safeway, for being walking distance of my place of work!)
-Glad it's Friday, even though I didn't go to work today

*This is normal, by the way.  No need to worry.  It's healing properly and it's supposed to flake--though it does kinda look like something out of a sci-fi movie at this point.

LOL, huh? Do you have guests?

Peeps are my baby chicks. I lost three chickens this month. Lewis, my little baby boy, didn't make it.  I had to give another baby, Zorro, up because he was fighting too much with his daddy. Another one died from a heart attack. These little ones are still too small to be outside so they sleep beside my bed so they can curl up on my hand at night.
