A Note About Release Dates
« on: September 04, 2011, 05:24:16 PM »
I've seen several threads pop up asking about Episode 4's release over the past couple of months, so I decided to make this thread to help clear the air for everyone: There is no public date set for Episode 4's release. When one has been made public, you can be sure that we'll announce it so everyone knows. Until that time, please refrain from asking about release dates. The only response you'll receive is "We have not yet announced a date". If you don't see a release date for episode 4, it's likely because there isn't one set in stone yet. This applies for all of our projects, including Episode 5, Infiltrator and Corridor 9. I hope this thread helps to clear the air for everyone.

A little update for everyone: In addition to not having a set release, our initial estimate of every 2-3 months has changed a bit. The reason for this is because we've completely re-thought the later episodes. Episode 3 was merged with episode 4, Episode 5 became episode 4, and we're making a new episode 5 completely from scratch. That means you're getting longer and more involved episodes with more content, but it also means that they'll be spending more time in the oven. Believe me, we're busting our butts off on Episode 4; I've been doing daily updates to the build and it's looking and running better each time. I can also say that one thing that's been keeping us busy is a very pesky bug; it's been eluding us for several episodes, but we've made some TREMENDOUS headway on it; by the time Episode 4 is out, that bug may very well be squashed and the game will run so much better than it did in the past. Unfortunately, that's all I can say at the moment, but believe me, we're working hard. Consider this an informal update on the progress of the episode. We may be quiet on the Public Relations front, but we're busy little beavers on the Production front!
