Heh - could you imagine that... like seriously playing a game, and suddenly....

"I wanna dance!"

There are some... videos that will never be shown to the public.

Let's just say that they involved glitches from an early build (you can see some in the background of Phoenix Bunch) and the song "What Is Love" by Haddaway.

CORDELIA = OLD ERICA

There is time travel involved.

And a godlike poodle.
It blowed my mind. But after thought what if Rose was also Erica Reed, who got back from future to teach present Reed. We would get three Ericas at the same time. :D

I... I... I don't wanna comprehend either of those last two theories. They make no sense!

Well, after playing the 2nd episode, i'm thinking of the worst case scenario : the super killer is a psionic like erica.
After all, how could he put to the test our heroïne's abilities via puzzles she's the only one to solve ?

1) He used his powers to locate various serial killers through Boston, and gave clues to stop them to the local branch of the FBI.

2) His warnings are not heeded, so he eliminates the serial killers himself and punish the agents who were charged to put them out of action with the modus operandi of the killers. In sort, it makes him a serial killer "X" (anyone played Condemned : Criminal Origins ?)

3) The visions of erica are out of control because her nemesis being a psionic, he is a completely unpredictable opponent.

4) That Cordelia is so cute... and since she knows Rose + was a witness to erica's brother's death... hum, suspicious ? Lady in distress (since she required protection) or manipulative monster ?

Like I said, it's only a worst case scenario theory...

I was gonna say a Wizard did it. But then again, that's my excuse for everything.

Welcome to the forum, by the way :)

I hope you enjoy it here :)

Welcome to the forums, python!

Hmm, interesting theories you have there.  :suffer:

Yeah, the killer is most likely a Psion. How else could he/she be able to leave clues that only another Psion would be able to see. Also, in the quiz it says something like: "You have been able to use your ability well."
There's so many movies/games/books/comics that I don't know where to start!

Well, better start with the classics and work my way forward...

Wait a second...I just realised something! Whoever the real killer is (I'll strongly believe it's this "Oracle" character) it's no mystery that he possesses a great deal of knowledge of how to manipulate the Cognitive power. Even so that he can fool Erica!

Think like this:
When Sully was kidnapped it really was Tess, plus another person. She Drugged him and took him outside. Then her partner in crime, "Oracle", blew the knockout powder in her face and locked her in the trunk of the car. BUT TESS WAS IN ON IT! It was an act! They knew that when Erica found Tess, she would try to look into the past with her powers. And when she did, she would see the falsified memory that they created. And she would think that Tess was innocent.

Because, really! Are we supposed to believe that someone else was waltzing into the FBI and serving them coffee, and no one would notice? Erica, Sully or John? No one?

Hey, that's another thing. John have been strangely absent from everything... And he just left the FBI station before Sully was kidnapped...So he WAS on the scene of the crime...
Well, you know what they say! It's always the last person you suspect.

My thoughts:

The killer is also a Psion, as Erica, and it's Cordelia, of course. She's like an evil version of Erica, both have lost their siblings.

python79

The killer used Joey to lead the FBI to the towers where resides Cordelia,  throwing him on the cops supposed to guard the place no less...  it shall be a good opportunity to visit Cordelia's appartment and have some clues on maybe how she lost her own brother.

only played Episode 1 but honestly I had the same idea, that Cordelia is evil.

Maybe her brother was the same guy who kidnapped Erica's brother during the prologue?

Also, welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy it here

HitBattousai

I somewhat hope that's not the case, because if it is, it's too obvious and would require a lot of background information on Cordelia to overcome it.  Maybe playing as her and learning her tragic past would help there.

stika

yeah I guess it would be a little contrived

I'm calling it now. Killer sorority like this one but more murdery.

So many questions, happy most of them will be answered in episode 3!
Cordelia = The Oracle obviously. It would have been nice to have some other false leads but its forgiven because there are so many things left to discover about Coredlia in episode 3! What is Max's role (her dead brother). I don't think he's The Cain Killer, although it could be possible I guess if Max is not really dead. Is the Cain Killer involved in her evil schemes. She most definitely has the powers Erica has, otherwise it would be impossible to set up all the devious puzzles. But how did she and Erica get the powers? It does seem that she knows more about her powers than Erica. Ah, cant wait to see how the plot develops.
v1989

You know what. I'm wondering how evil would be if cordelia was evil sister of Erica. She killed her brother, saw despair of her sister and came up with sad story to get sympathy from her.

Jack Stryker

I'm pretty sure Cordelia is the Oracle.  It's obvious, really.

That man at her apartment building that she was "afraid" of was Joey.  And she didn't want the Police there for protection from him, she wanted them there so that she could "release him into their custody."
