Episode 4 patch-cant find game?

I am trying to install episode 4, but not only is the window not as wide as it should be
(cuts off some words/options)  but it can not find a compatible game in the directory where my game is definitely located...any idea why?

You've posted in the tech support forum for Cognition, is this problem actually about Cognition or is it Episode 4 of The Silver Lining you're referring to?

When you installed the first three episodes did you put them into the default installation directory or on like a separate drive or something like that?

Yeah that's really strange. I can't think of any reason why it would have trouble finding the game to update it, the only times I've heard this from other people is when they either installed Episode 3 to a directory other than the default one, or they had a pre-final version of that episode. Like the one we sent out to the press or something.

It's probably going to be necessary for you to just uninstall what you have and then re-download the full installer that has all four episodes in it.
