Getting Mime to move is near impossible (lots of bugs)
« on: October 15, 2014, 03:39:11 PM »
Trying to get the Mime to move is painstakingly hard.. I've had Gabriel end up on top of his head, warp to another part of the French Quarter and the Mime jump dragged around the French Quarter (but not interacting with anything)... Think this is going to require a hot fix.

I do not get exactly what does not work. You have to wait until the to people which are not directly part of the game (a man and a woman) either on the right side of the place or in movement away from the mime. Then you walk in front of the mime to make him follow (works only if he is not following one of the others) and then strait down to the bike.
I saw some flies on the place but not the trace of a bug.

Well, you still can 'lose' the mime to the music group on the way down. Happened in my game at least.

As to the bug mentioned: I noticed too while skipping dialogue and quickly clicking somewhere in the scene, Gabriel managed to speed into inappropriate locations, like on top of someone's head or other objects and - once - backwards out of Mosley's office in some sort of moonwalk. With the next sensible action this reverted to normal, though.

I walked the mime on the left hand circle of the walk (facing the park) all the way down and around to the cop.  Worked perfect.
