I have never played any of the other games in the Animal Crossing series, but got New Horizons a bouple months back.  It's cute and mostly releaxing...until the scorpion comes around a building and stabs you.  LOL.

Anyone else play?

Nice.  I've heard some fans of the earlier games say they are disappointed New Horizons doesn't have some of the earlier features but others are more like, 'Eh, I can wait.'

What do you think of New Horizons?

I see some of the videos of the super themed island and am definitely amazed by the creativity of some folks.

That and I noticed there are certain islanders that people try to get.  It seems Raymond is very popular for sure.  I just had 1 islander move away so we'll see if I find someone via a Nook Miles ticket or I just get a new neighbor.  But so far, I have Lionel, Bubbles, Gonzo, Piper, Hamlet, Margie, Punchy, Filbert and Pashmina.  (Amelia is leaving me.)
