I can get up fast if I NEED to get up. (I shot out of bed like a rocket yesterday )

If I NEED to get up at a certain time, I have to make sure I set my alarm clock to 10 minutes before that time or I won't make it.

I've been going to bed and waking up at the same time recently, so for the past week or so I've been waking up before my alarm goes off.

That mechanism only works when I'm on holiday.

So I had no 9:30 class today, because the professor is from California and is, apparently, afraid of snow.  Or at least, driving in it before noon.

A few years ago, there was an unexpected snowfall early morning and I had to drive to work through all of that snow. That was FUN!!, especially watching the other cars. Ofcourse, I was late at work that day, but who cares?

It's exam week, so I didn't have to get up.
On the other hand my Psychology exam is at 7:30 Friday morning.  Shall we take bets on how late I'm going to be?   My plan is to get up at 7 and grab breakfast then go to the exam.  That's the plan anyways.

And, because this is my thread, I shall commence to complain:
I DON'T UNDERSTAND RELATIONSHIPS!!  Why is my boyfriend acting all weird and distant?
I mean, I'm doing it too, but I know why *I'm* doing it.  And if he's doing it for the same reasons, I wish he'd come out and tell me so I'd feel better about it!
Then again, if he's being distant for the same reasons, he probably wishes I'd tell him.  But I don't know how to say that I'm having issues with the distance thing (which is silly, because if either one of us had cars it would be practically no distance at all -- our schools are just a little over an hour apart).

That's the reason I am currently not in a relationship. Distance is annoying, but then she was cheated on in her last distance relationship so I can't blame her.

I guess you could ask him why he's acting weird and distant. Unless you've already tried that

That'd be an incredibly awkward conversation to have.  And he'd probably either say "What do you mean?" or stop talking.

If he does say "What do you mean?" then explain to him why you think he's been distant. If he's just been busy or something, then he'll be aware of not forgetting you. If something's wrong, then you at least will have a way to know. Sure it'd be awkward, but isn't the distance and confusion worse?

I guess that's a good point, but what do I do if he stops talking?

I talked to my mom, she said long distance relationships tend to fizzle out after a while and that usually that's the best way of ending them -- just let them fade.

IMHO, that's the worst way of ending it. That would be worse than any screaming, cussing, heartbreaking fight, or sorrowful goodbye. There's no closure that way.

On another, happier note: I'm home for Winter Break! YAY!!!

That's what my guy experience has led to anyways. I ended up practically asked to be screamed at.

Blah, I'm finding an extreme dislike of relationships.

On another, happier note: I'm home for Winter Break! YAY!!!

1) Home = good!  WOOT!

2) Relationships... heh.  Even being fresh out of one, and half fresh out of another... I'm still not totally turned off by them.  I do find that you see a lot of the other person's character in a breakup, though.   Kind of scary... in fact, very scary.  As for long distance ones, ugh.  Not for me.  Evidently some can do it, but you'll have to figure that one out for yourself.

I'm with you on this one, Jamez.  I like being close to someone.  And cuddling and making out is fun too.

But the work that goes into these things.  LORD!

This just in: I'm an afterthought.  I am too much of an attention w**** to be an afterthough!!

Cuddling and making out is soooo awesome! 

And the work... that will always be there... but eventually find someone where you BOTH work at it and it's that much easier.

And if someone thinks you're an afterthought, then you're most definitely better off without.  What a horrible thing to say about someone.

He didn't say I was an afterthough, but the fact that he misses me was totally only a PS in his last Livejournal entry.  Actually, it was only HALF the PS...(see what I meant about the attention w**** thing? )

Anyways, this is really interesting. I mean, why do people keep gravitating to relationships anyway? I haven't had that many, so I wouldn't know. Not that I have anything against relationships. I would love to have one right now. However, I'm still available.

Okay, so, he and I are back to the having conversations that don't randomly end...and, he's even asking about me!  Attention w**** is appeased.

And, yeah, that's a big part of why I act.

People like relationships because it lets them know that they're loved in a different way then a friend's love, or family love. That, and relationboats sink more often.
