I remember playing Wolfenstein 3D and Duke 3D with my dad on Saturday nights.

Quake was something I tried on my own, definitely one of my favourites!

Quest For Glory was...close...in the sence it was an RPG based game and it involved solving puzzles and such, and was made by Sierra.  Other than that QFG involved more fighting of monsters and being able to import characters played from previous versions into the next one.

Gaberial Knight was an AWSOME series as long as the whole religious aspect of the 3rd one didnt bother you. 

IMO, if you havent played either of those game series, i would HIGHLY recommend it.  If you like the style of KQ, you will like QFG1-4 and GK1 for sure.

I thought it rocked pretty well, though I feel discussion of Gabriel Knight 3 on this particular forum might prove volatile. Otherwise I'd dispense with wittier comments.

Beats me but whenever i hear it i think of King's Quest and the other way around too
