Don't know if it's just me, but new 2.0 patch seems buggier than the first

I just downloaded and installed the new 2.0 patch and ever since have had problems not only loading the game, it freezes frequently and goes to a not responding state, and also freezes during the game... the one time I did get to play a little bit it seemed that I did notice some nice changes, such as the bedroom loading and the main hall running smoother, but then It froze the minute I went through the door to get into the courtyard.  I'll try to uninstall and redownload both the demo and the patch and see if that maybe clears it up, I installed the 2.0 patch to a game that already had the 1.0 patch, but if it doesn't clear it up maybe that's a problem you guys could address.  Thank you very much though for all the updates and making such a beautiful looking game.  :D

Well I uninstalled everything and redownloaded both the game and the new patch, the game works fine now.  I did notice, just a little constructive criticism, that the glide thing is still in full effect... in fact worse in some parts (after leaving the castle and talking to the guard dog I glided all the way from the castle doors to the town.)  The main hall is still really buggy, even though the movement and loading has sped up quite considerably, graham still glides instead of walks.  I did like the fixes in the conversation with the ferry man, especially the yes or no box added when you want to get on the boat.  Overall I'd still say this is probably the best King's Quest related game I've played so far, the little bit that I've played, and I can say that in my opinion It'll definitely be an instant classic amongst all the dedicated fans to the King's Quest franchise.

I just tried it on my machine, but both sections worked fine with no gliding whatsoever. Could you please fill out a formal bug report for this?

That quote really must go in any press materials in the future, don't you think? (I know I joke around a lot, but I mean this one sincerely)

That is something I also noticed. The first time I enter the grand hall, Graham still walks (wasn't so with the 1.01 patch) but after I've been to the garden (which still 'lags'), Graham decides to do his impression of the moonwalk again . . .   ;)

And that is where it goes wrong on this end. Whatever I do (talking to Hassan or clicking the boat), Graham doesn't board the boat and therefor doesn't go to the Isle of the Sacred Mountain (which seems to be forgotten). With the previous patch, this used to work normally . . .
It seems totally incredible to me now that everyone spent that evening as though it were just like any other. From the railway station came the sound of shunting trains, ringing and rumbling, softened almost into melody by the distance ...

Actually I should just probably keep my mouth shut, and wait for a more finished version before I decide to go nit picking here and there about this glitch and that... Judging by the graphics and gameplay alone so far It looks like all of you are more than capable and know what you're doing.

And that would be really cool if you wanted to actually use that quote in future press material.  I've always thought I should go to college for a creative writing minor and try to get into the review writing area and put my two cents worth in about games.  ;)

Nitpicking here and there about this glitch and that will mean that hopefully they won't be in the final version the day it's released, so I say pick away.

Yep.  That's why I appreciate constructive criticism.  If you're able to restructure your criticism into an issue report, that would be ideal. 8)

As Michael said already, please fill out a formal Issue Report when reporting bugs. 8)
That means another new thread or do you have a submisson form somewhere ??

That might take a while.  I suggest just filling out a report and being more specific about: the defect, its setup, and its effect. 8)

I actually just installed Patch 2.0 and replayed the demo. It ran ten times smoother than the first time I played though it. T'was nice. :)
