The game ran great for me as long as i kept it to 16 colors, if i upped it to 32, king graham kept dissapearing and there were major clipping issues all over the island as well as a lot of missing objects.  just wanted to let you know that it works fine with vista and DX10 as long as i dont try 32 colors!

my specs:
vista home premium 64-bit
core 2 duo e6600
2g ddr2 pc2 6400
geforce 8800 gts 640mb

thank you for the welcome.  I was so excited to play the demo and INCREDIBLY impressed with what you guys have done!  keep up the good work.

Hmm, are you running the game with DirectX or OpenGL rendering? It's recommended that you use OpenGL if possible.

I guess i am not really sure how i am rendering it.  the only options that i could find in the options on the main menu were resuloution, bit depth, and screenshot, under screenshot i have the choice between jpeg and png.  i have it running at 1024X768 16 bit color depth and jpeg screenshot and it works great, if i change the bit depth to 32, graham starts dissapearing, textures clip over eachother, objects dissapear, and it runs pretty slowly.  i have not changed the screenshot setting from jpeg because, honestly, i have no idea what it means.  any thoughts?

DirectX 10 is for Windows Vista only.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes...

I see your point and I checked it out on Wikipedia and it seems that DirectX 9 is the one to use for now since XP and DX9 is where all the support is currently but eventually that will change.  Thanks for the correction.
