:P

I was just noticing how someone almost always seems to be viewing my profile, sometimes several people, always guests. Not that I have anything in there that's important or anything, but I was wondering if there was a way to make profile viewing members only? People on the board may wish to share info with fellow forum members but not with anonymous strangers.

Anyway this was just a suggestion, since I don't know if it's possible or if I'm the only one who cares XD

Thanks for your time anyway :)

I think your posts and your statistics page are the only things viewable to guests, nothing like IM or email addresses, but I rather agree.

I think you are right about that. But I noticed guests are always looking at profiles for some reason. It might also be a good incentive for guests to register to be part of the community if they can't view profiles.

Edit: Just tried viewing profiles as a guest and aside from posts and statistics you can also see website links, age, location etc. So semi-sensitive information that you might not want anonymous people to know. :-X

Hmm... Guests don't have access to the members list, but they have access to people's profiles?  That's a bit odd...  I'll check it out now and see.

EDIT: There we go.  Now they only have access to view their own profile, and no one else's.  If they try viewing someone else's profile, they'll get this message:

"Warning!
Many apologies, but you can't view just any profile.
Please login below or register an account with TSL Forum."

Very cool, I didn't know guests had a profile though, since they're not registered? ???

Erm, good point. :P They shouldn't even have that as an option because it doesn't make sense.  I'll uncheck that permission now. XD
