As for the Father, that is a different storyline entirely by Tierra, we don't have a "Father" as such. We do have some cool new uber-villains but I'm not saying much more than that. Oh yes, and I believe the Black Cloak Society is mentioned in our newsletter, maybe we'll get to finally see who is in it.

That is something Ive been itching to bring up... would it be possible for KQ9 to refer to Tierra's "Father" in some way? A collaborative plot thread, perhaps? It certainly would be interesting...
BTW... this is probably a question i should ask on the AGDI forums... but is the Father really a totally new bad guy... or maybe a reference to Mannannan (sp?) from KQ3... he certainly fits the bill... and the timeline according to the air tests, for that matter....

We tried once, and the author of the story said he preferred to keep the story for himself to develop.

So there are no references to "father" in KQ9. However, out ultimate evil will surely please everybody

Well, I think Hagatha should be brought back...you never actually got rid of her...so she's liekly to be lurking about still.  If the game's evil people can be connected to her in someway, and/or part of the game takes place on Kolyma, I think you shoudl include her.  If not, then she's not a factor that "needs" to be included.

If you look in the nightingale's cage, you'll find a letter, apparently from Manannan to Hagatha, which references The Father. That letter says Manannan is Hagatha's brother, and definatly not The Father
