That's right folks! TSL is now on Twitter! Come follow us at http://twitter.com/TSL_Game! We'll be updating the Twitter any time a status message is posted, among other things. It's there to keep you informed of what's going on! We hope you enjoy it!

I'm hoping this twitter account will help spread the word a little more about TSL. I figure that Twitter is a great way to keep people informed of the progress of the game, and once it's released, it'll be perfect to spread the word about that. We've already got more followers than my personal Twitter does lol. Then again, my twitter doesn't have much useful information on it. I'm thinking that later today I'll put links up on Twitter to various places on the tsl site, and a link to the trailer. And of course, a link to the forum!

lol, I pretty much just scanned my Inbox and added anyone I knew from TSL. :P  As I was telling DD, it's unlikely we'll be updating it frequently right now.  But we probably will once we're close to release.  It's a lot faster and easier to type a 140-character or less message, than it is to update a web page or even reply to a forum post. :P 

That's probably the main reason why Twitter has become so popular recently.

The only real purpose I see to Twitter is for companies and fan games and ambitious projects to update their status online. I don't see it working well for personal use. I think it's about time that TSL got one though, so that's always good. Speaking of which, I'm going to update it right now with the information that King's Quest and Space Quest are on steam...

And yet people are using it for personal use like there was no tomorrow. I think sometimes you want to say things that might otherwise be too irrelevant to say and Twitter is a great way to do that, plus it beats page-long blogs that just put people to sleep. :P

That's true. I have my own personal twitter account, but I use it not to post about my own life, but to ask companies like Lucas Arts and websites like Sarien.net about what their planning. I use it for asking questions and finding out information more than I do my own personal use. But, my own personal use does come into play once in a while!
