I'm pretty sure Cordelia is the Oracle.  It's obvious, really.

That man at her apartment building that she was "afraid" of was Joey.  And she didn't want the Police there for protection from him, she wanted them there so that she could "release him into their custody."

Yeah, I agree its obvious. But I also like that this will be revealed in episode 3, hopefully quite early. Then there is a whole episode left devoted to the Cain Killer, who he is and what the motives are for him and The Oracle.

Could the Cain killer be Max (Cordelia's "dead" brother)? Possibly, since its hinted in the prequel comic that The Oracle helps building The Cain Killer's deadly contraptions. It would also fit with the brother-sister murder theme. Maybe Max and Cordelia had something traumatic happen to them and they want other siblings to experience the same thing.

In the comic the Oracle has someone captive who is helping her with the building. He doesnt know why he is helping. I can't figure out who that is. Can you?

Hello everyone, I'm new around here :)

Like many of you, I also think that Cordelia is the Oracle. More than that, I think she is the Hangman and the Wise Monkey.
All the leads related to her...
* She was at the crime scene when Scott died.
* She met Rose - that proves she has supernatural powers like Erica and even stronger powers.
* She seems to know more about Erica. She is also keeps comparing Erica to her ("you sound a lot like me sometimes").
* The man she saw and she is afraid of (the one with scars on this face) - I think this is the Cain Killer, and there's a connection between them.
* Max, her dead brother (or maybe he is not dead) - She mentioned that they lost their parents when they were young. Maybe he is the Cain Killer and this is the reason why they kill siblings?
* She lives at Enthon Towers - this is the place where Joey is being thrown off the roof.
I really hope she isn't the killer, because if she is - then it's too expected and obvious.
You promised that the identify of the killer is disturbing and unexpected :)

Check that:

Cordelia is really looks like the killer. Don't you think?

Welcome to the forums! Nice username :)

Hey, maybe Cordelia was just looking to buy some nice antiques when she met Rose. You never know...

:suffer:  <--that's the Suffer. You'll see him whenever folks speculate or ask or plot details that we're not gonna tell you :)

My theory is that she is the Cain Killer, but I like this theory more.

In the prologue, the Cain Killer was most definitely male, I'm sure of it

I think the Cain Killer is really Rose, and that's why she walks funny when you first meet her. :suffer:
