I was just wondering that this morning. *goes and measures* 'Bout 5'7, or 174 centimeters.

If you could have chosen the country you were born in, which on would you have chosen?

I am very tempted to say Ireland... but then I wonder...

How different would I be if I had been born elsewhere? (and I mean dramatically elsewhere... not just the next state over)

I would say VERY, the people you knew, the things you did, the reactions you would have had, they would have all been very very different.

Has any game you have played had a bad alternate ending that made you wanna kick yourself very very hard?

Why does technology make communication more and more detached?
(from making it not face to face, to not even vocals, to who knows what?)

Just chiming in on this: while telephones took away the face-to-face (leading to numerous misunderstandings) and texting took away vocals but gave some new ways to communicate the missing context (emoticons, punctuation, etc.) (and yet still lead to numerous misunderstandings), those failures of conveying personalities are problems with those particular pieces of technology, the forward march of technology has been to climb back up that hill with things like skype, voice chats, and video chats (which restore just about all that was lost, even with a couple of seconds of delay (maybe with the right software doing the buffering we'll finally be able to take back those stupid things we say and immediately realize how stupid they are ).

While Tex Murphy: Pandora Directive had some SILLY endings, they weren't exactly happy and satisfying some of them....So I'd say to play the whole game and get one of the weird endings could be kind of annoying.

Why do they make you get a new driver's license every four years? So my hair is long, my FACE hasn't changed. It's just a pain.

Yeah, not having to go to uni anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's very interesting and I really like learning stuff etc, but it's always there, it just always haunts you. The omnipresent feeling of really having to do stuff totally sucks. Kinda makes me long back to the days when I was just working and didn't take anything home with me. The ability to rest well, and sleep well, etc

And argh, I typed this before Merlin posted, and I'm not gonna delete it. West.

Have you seen Indy 4 yet, and if so, what did you think?

I liked it! I thought it really felt like an Indy film, only negative I thought was a bit too much CGI.
