Woohoo!  I voted first! :D

Sci-fi space spoof.

Mostly because I'm a sci-fi lovin' geek.

And evidently, I'm enough of a clown to like the comedies. :)

I'm not sure if anyone has done this elsewhere for you Pwincess, but welcome to the KQ9 forums.

I really couldn't decide at all, but in the end I chose Sci-fi Space Spoof because that's always entertaining and I haven't seen a good one in a long while.

hmmm i voted Fantasy fairy-tale, but it isn't really accurate because i don't like a genre in specific but movies from all kind of genres...

lol, but i choose Fantasy fairy-tale because no one voted on that one yet ; )

Yeah!!  I'm with Say on this poll. XD

I don't think this poll is limited to movie genres, it could also be tv and books.  In movies, I tend to like more fantasy/sci-fi, suspense thrillers & comedies as my top 3 favourites. :)

I voted for Sci-Fi Spoof out of all of those. Gee, I wonder why those particular options were offered? ;)

I really like SF in general... although I do feel that SF and humor is always a sublime combination.

hmmm.... i like fantasy books the best!! ...it stimulates my imagination i guess ; ) ...although i like sf movies a lot(some) i don't really like sf books ; \

hmmm... and that would be with more genre's... I mean i like the movies, but not the books. ...some i like, but not in general ; ) ...so i guess my vote is pwetty accurate after all ; )

It's a toss-up between Fantasy fairy-tale and Medieval knights & conquests for me, but I enjoy the other genres as well  :)

B'rrr: I'm sorry to hear that... I always thought that literary SF was the true heart of the genre. The advantages of telling a story with the written word best complement the advantages of the SF style. Even the best SF audio-visual series feel like they're missing something, to me.

about books and movies I agree, SF movies may be good, but SF books are for TRUE lovers of SF :P

btw SF freaks ;P, did you watch Solaris with George Clooney??.... did any of you liked it?! (I so didnt :P)

hmmm.... i do recall that i enjoyed sphere (book) but not the movie, so that would be an exception ; )

...it is a bit weird though, because what i love about fantasy books i dislike about fantasy movies, i think a movie limits my imagination because it is 'forced' by the directors point of view and not mine

It happens to the best writers... Stephen King is another good example :S

Crichton's book "Jurassic Park" was great as well - now I can't tell if the movie really sucked or that I just resented it for not being the same as the book  ;P
