Which is why I said, if you put yourself in a position to get feedback from fans, you need to be able to have time to deal with any problems, because some fans will cause problems. Not to mention there's been some issues with people writing posts while others were already posting, putting things a little out of place in some spots.

I never said I didn't have any faith in you guys. I simply took umbrage with Rambaldi's tone and attitude.

I, too, think the project looks awesome.  You guys are doing a great job.  Also, the members here have previously heard Say's complaints about nay-sayers.  Supposedly (I wouldn't know since I don't have the time to join the PR dept.) criticism has been harsh.  This can bog a person down, from what I've seen and heard.  I hope you guys keep up the quality of work that I've already seen from ya'll (yes, I'm Southern :P).  If ya'll are like the KQ9 team, you will not give us anything less than your best, even if it DOES take longer!

Can't wait!

We approach things differently. In the past, I've been professional. Read past posts on AGS Forums when people have "slammed" us. Or our boards. This FF8 guy rubbed me the wrong way, because, as I said above, I've seen too many fans lately demanding things.

You guys are in no position to demand things. Or be pessimistic. You're not doing anything. We're doing all the work. So stop complaining already!

Actually, I think our PR was pretty good. We did a nice announcement on AGDI forums. Someone here posted an innocent link for you guys. Probably a fan and you decided to jump down his throat. And ours! For no reason!

Jeysie, I took offense to FF8 guy's tone first and foremost. This was my team that I'm so proud to be a part of, so I get to criticize him however I want. And while I might have been harsh, you'll find nothing inaccurate in what I wrote.

Koko, about the hotdogs, it's a long running IA joke. I'm obssessed with hotdogs. Once I made a joke during a fight online with someone, "I'm sweaty and I need a hotdog" (long story short, there was a fight going on at our boards, and I came home from volleyball and was excited for hotdog team and I hat to respond to that message and that was how I ended it; the rest of it was professional)

I have read the posts you folks have made in AGDI, and I have read your forums. I didn't get to respond to Fatali's post before Blackthorne did, saying that I had heard of you folks, so I didn't see a need to add anything further in that regard.

I didn't jump down the poster's throat. I didn't jump down the throat of the question of the team's progress. I did jump down your throat for what I felt was a rude way to deal with criticism, especially when it came after Blackthorne and Fatali calling a truce. It might have simply been a case where other people posted while we were in the middle of writing our posts, so yours and mine posts ended up out of place. Happens.

As for continuing things... I just hate it when I feel like people are misreading me. I didn't make any demands for screenshots or progress. I didn't question credentials. All I said was that I felt Fatali was correct in feeling that the original link post was unprofessional-looking. I also said I thought that the tone of your post was rude, and didn't think it was a good image to put forth for your game.

I was in the middle of typing my post when Blackthorne stated he didn't know who that original poster was, and didn't have time to modify my post before more people reacted to it. And that's it, that's all I commented on. If we're all willing to calm down, then I no longer have anything to criticize. Just don't put words into my mouth I didn't say.
