You can submit your fan fiction anytime, :). That's not really a challenge, I just want people to feel they have a place they can safely submit their works, and there individual visions for what "happens after" MOE, between the games, etc, etc.

As for if/when TSL will give out a signed poster, for the "winner" that's up to them, if they decide to make it a sweepstakes kinda thing out of it heh heh.  They can be the judges. ;)
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

Tempting... but then I end up hating everything I write so probably won't anyway. :P

I believe Baggins has just issued a challenge -- everyone who's interested should submit their own novelizations to the KQ Omnipedia.
For just this episode or when the whole game is out?
I was thinking, if we did all the previous games (the fan versions -- AGDI's KQ2 and IA's KQ3 -- to help separate from the original) what would make it a contest is that the winner could write the "official" companion to TSL once the whole thing is out. (Not that other people couldn't also write companions to it, but it wouldn't be the official one. :P)

I wonder what happened to Peter Spear, he showed interest in writing an online novel for the game.

It's the fact that no one has heard from him that led to this idea. Should he suddenly pop up and say "I'm gonna write it!" then, obviously, the prize I'm imagining is totally a moot point.

Hey guys, let's keep this discussion on Ken and Roberta, shall we? We don't want to stray too far off into the realm of fan-fiction. Perhaps you should start a separate thread for that over in the TSL Asylum section.
