Here's an episode on how to make Mac and Cheese if you need help:

Part 1
Part 2

LadyTerra, I'm tempted to modify your profile and call you the Mistress of Google; seriously, you've mastered the art of searching for a video on the internet relating to any random topic. Congratulations. Now to learn how to make proper mac and cheese...

Awww, mac and cheese.  I remember when I first started playing The Sims 1, I had a Sim named Mac Encheese.  ;D

XD I remember when I first started playing I killed my Sims within five minutes... Ok, not really. In all honesty, I can't even remember the first time I played the Sims. It was so long ago.

Well dude, you were how old in 2000 (when the game came out)?  Seven?  You were pretty young!  You were as old as I was the first time I beat KQ 6! :o

Me too. I think that is when I first beated KQ 6 too. I still had windows 1998. Wow, where did that time go? :o

I was thirteen when The Sims came out, and I definitely remember my first ever Sim.  Her name was--shocking!--Hailey Dundas.  She had a pink house and a pink bedroom, played with a dollhouse, and had flowers on her shirt.  I think she eventually died of starvation while I left the room and forgot to pause the game. :P

The first time I played was my friends house and I remember I build my house too big and could not afford to buy anything. :D

I always cheated on The Sims, so I could build the really big houses. To me, building the houses was actually the funny thing about Sims. Playing with the characters got kind of boring ...

Cheating in the sims, strangely, is not frowned upon. I cheat, you cheat; I think just about every sims player cheats at some point or another. Cheating in the Sims is almost encouraged XD

So is killing, strangely enough.  There's a thread on the TS3 forums that is called something like, "Things you can only get away with saying here" and it's got a lot of, "My firstborn child was ugly, so I drowned her." :P

Oh man, killing my sims. That, my friends, is an art. The art of killing sims. I realize many people may complain about killing virtual people (let alone virtual children), but honestly, it's kind of hilarious to watch a sim drown in a pool when you take away the ladder. it's a shame they "fixed" that lack of logic in TS3. But, I can still burn my sims! (yes, the Sims brings out my more sadistic side...)

"Hilarious" is not the word I would use there. :P

Mildly funny then? Amusing?

In TS1 and 2 I used to make what I would call "death boxes"...otherwise four walls, a stove, a fridge, and a Sim.  Sim puts something in the oven, I cancel them taking it out, and certain death ensues.  Heh heh heh.

I'm ok with killing people in shooters, but that just seems so...sadistic or something. I dunno.

Ah, yes. That's a classic, I believe.

Welcome to the Sims, Doon. The majority of players I know, be it in real life or online, take pleasure in virtually killing sims in some fashion or another. It may be sadistic, but it's fun. It's a life simulator, after all. Maxis has to cater to EVERY audience with it. The sadistic, the female, the male, the good, the bad, etc. I'd say they've got they're bases covered pretty well. My sister plays the sims merely to build houses. My friends play it merely to play with life. I play to build houses, play with life, then kill it all when I get bored, and repeat the process. The only thing's I'm killing are pixels essentially.
