I don't know much about how to sound threatening, so perhaps a paper copy may make more of an impact, but wouldn't it be so much easier to spread if we just had an online petition like those at

The whole purpose with the paper petitions is for Vivendi to actually have to SEE the signatures...not just maybe or not looking at the website.

I have been around this website and forum for many years.  I've come, I've gone, yadda yadda.

I have watched this game for even longer, since the early days when It was practically dead and resurfaced as the project you now see.  Back when you couldn't find jack on the project and I still have no idea how the heck I found it.

I have seen this team do great things.  I seriously cannot imagine how much time and how much skill they have put into this.  When I watched the trailer this evening (I needed time to get a working player), I was amazed beyond belief.  It was INCREDIBLE.  As much as I feel guilty for doubting you all, I never expected it to be THIS FREAKING AWSOME.

It's a little late now, but I personally don't think the whole "Send Letters to express displeasure of C&D" is a wise idea...Yet.  The team has said they are exploring every avenue...Let them.  We don't know the whole story, but they do.  Let them work their magic.  They'll come up with something.

When misfortunate things happen, everyone wants to point fingers at someone, and we all know what I'm referring to here.  It's human nature, yes, but not always wise.  As someone already posted pages ago, take a Chill Pill, and calm down a little.

Yes, we're all shocked by the news, and we're not in the least bit thrilled.  But getting angry isn't going to help matters.  Anger cloudsn judgement.  If this situation is going to be reversed, it's only going to happen if we all stay calm and collected about it.

I think it's better right now if we show our support by praising the team.  They are the ones who right now have had all their hard work shot through the head.  Let's all support what we DO like rather than going after what we DON'T like.

As for changing the names/whatever like people have said, it's NOT that easy.  Or easy at all.  Considering all they've been though this week, it's not very nice to ask anything more of the team right now.

Look at all they have given you.  Bow to them for doing such a wonderful job, FOR US.  They deserve some extra praise.


Even if things don;t turn out in any sort of favor for the community, I want to thank you all for all you've done for us of your own free will.  I wish you all the best of luck in whatever you're trying to do to save what you've worked so hard on.  I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines, and hope everyone else is right there with me.

For those wondering, and I probably should've clarified, if Vivendi does come to a firm decision in favor of the game before these petitions are emailed out, there will be no reason for me to do so.

Also, I just want to say a personal thank you to everyone who's volunteered to help me. I DO try to reply individually so keep your eyes open for that! Team, the number of those who want to help me organize this is astounding

EDIT: Oh, yeah, it was suggested by someone in an email that people write in their locations. If you haven't sent a petition yet, you might just give your city and state at the bottom of the petition. Again, you, Vivendi, and I will be the only ones to see the petitions. Thanks

But the worst of all is how some people react to this. For example,
when all were anxious for the future of kq9 an icelandic clown named Fribbi in AGDI forums entered and ignored this fact and started worrying about the existence of his game, a game that does not have seriousness and it looks awful!!!
This is what he worried him! HIS game!!! not the cancelation of kq9!
To make matters worse, he starts complaining why AGDI got away with it which we all found it very irritating, and i wonder how these people stand him and for how long they will stand him.
In the thread where all people talk seriously about KQix he enters and calls other people stupid. (el_listo)
He even criticised badly and with irony a letter that father ghost face
sent to Vivendi in order to support you.
It makes me wonder on which side is this weirdo. Is he with fan projects ? or with someone else? Maybe he is enclosed in his own world where he is the king.
It is very strange how people put their selfishness above all, which in this case is the future of fan adventures

the worst of all is ALIAS who spread the rumor that their team got a C&D letter from Vivendi in order to provide a valid reason for sq3 cancelation.
Yeah he wanted to get away with this and avoid expressing the real reason which is they they ARE NOT ABLE TO finish the game!

Such actions do bad to the fan community and should be reported and condemned by all. Spread the news.

I would not want to have an Alias effect to ambitious fan developers:
make them believe that they are not allowed to create a remake
so they cease from doing anything and have the extinction of

No AGDI is making QFG2.AGDI is a serious group.

Fribbi is just a weird man with no reasoning who tries to prove that
he can create a game. He thinks if he makes a game someday,
he will be something like a god.
He even started behaving very badly to AGDI because they have not released GFG2 yet!!! He told them that he will be nicer to them only if they release some updates!!! this is ....cannot be explained!!
My impression is that all that he is expecting from his life is to grab a remake of QFG2.


On the other hand i have watched his attitude towards the projects of other people and i saw that he is very critical, always say bad things to them. My opinion ? he is jealous whenever someone makes a game.
